Workers’ Compensation
Suffering an injury while on the job can bring about a host of complications — both physical and financial.
If you’ve been injured on the job in Oregon, you may be entitled to workers’ compensation from your employer. This coverage affords you time for your recovery, as well as paying a portion or — in some cases — all of your chiropractic treatment plan.
Depending on your type of injury, chiropractic adjustment or massage therapy services may be right for you. If you’ve suffered a workplace injury resulting in any of the following conditions, speak with your employer or representative today about how your workers’ compensation can afford you chiropractic care treating:
- Neck pain
- Back pain
- Shoulder pain
- Upper back pain
- Lower back pain
- Headaches/migraines
- Whiplash
- Joint complications
- Chronic muscle pain and stiffness
- Nerve damage
- Tendon strain or injury
How Does Workers’ Compensation For Chiropractic Care Work?
There are many steps involving claiming and receiving workers’ compensation, particularly for medical and chiropractic care. We encourage you to speak with your employer or representative today to learn more about workers’ compensation as it relates to chiropractic care.
Managed Care Organizations
Managed Care Organizations (MCO) are health care providers that work with insurers or self-insured employers to offer health care services to workers who are enrolled in a participating MCO plan through their employer. If your employer is part of an MCO, you often have the option to choose which doctor from whom you wish to receive care. After you’ve suffered an injury, your employer’s insurer can enroll you in the MCO. Prior to enrolling in your MCO, you may use any qualifying health care provider as your attending physician. For more information on your rights as an injured worker and how they affect your chiropractic treatment, please see the State of Oregon’s injured worker overview document for more information.
